Solasumika Akashi” is a very convenient house within walking distance of Akashi station and Nishishinmachi station. All rooms have a veranda, and the rooftop is over 50 square meters. The house is suitable for those who want to spend a calm and relaxing time in the peaceful town of Akashi.
Akashi City is located in the southern part of Hyogo Prefecture, facing the Seto Inland Sea with Awaji Island and the Akashi Strait in front of you. Many people know it as the “City of Japan Standard Time” through which the 135th parallel of the East Longitude runs.
Access to Akashi takes about 40 minutes by train from Osaka and about 15 minutes from Kobe (Sannomiya). The Shinkansen bullet train from Nishi Akashi Station is also convenient, making Akashi an area with excellent transportation access even within the Kansai region.
The SolaSumika Akashi share house is an 18-minute walk from Akashi Station, and a 6-minute walk north from Nishi-Shinmachi Station. 1F is tenants, 2F and 3F are share houses (all rooms have verandas), and there is a large rooftop on the 4th floor.
Akashi Station, which is in the center of Akashi, is one of the busiest places in Hyogo Prefecture with the completion of the redevelopment building “Papios Akashi” in 2016, along with the commercial facility “Piore Akashi” which is directly connected to the station. The “Uonotana shopping street” located south of the station has many restaurants and souvenir stores, mainly selling a variety of marine products, and attracts many visitors from Japan and abroad. Akashi Castle Park, located north of the station, boasts the highest number of visitors in Hyogo Prefecture, and various events are held there every week. The park is rich in nature with a vast lawn, plaza and pond. There are also a variety of sports facilities such as a baseball field, an archery range, and tennis courts.
Nishishinmachi, where SolaSumika Akashi is located, is within walking distance to such a lively area, yet it is a quiet town. In addition to convenient supermarkets, convenience stores, and ATMs, there are bakery/cake shops, delicious local udon and ramen restaurants, and cat cafes nearby, making it a very popular area in Akashi City. A 10-minute walk from Nishi-Shinmachi Station, the closest station to the house, is the Hama-no-Walkway, which stretches along the Akashi seaside and is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the calm sea and sea breeze of the Seto Inland Sea. The Akashi and Nishi-Shinmachi areas are recommended for both permanent residence and relocation, as they offer a good balance between quiet time to concentrate, nature to take a breath away, and urban convenience.
